K’Nex centre of excellence

Monday, 12 October 2015

Pupils and staff at Our Lady’s Tile Cross, Birmingham are delighted to have been appointed as a centre of excellence for Data Harvest Robotics who provide primary school science and technology products worldwide. With the enthusiastic help of Bren Taylor Senior Education Advisor at Link2ICT based in Birmingham, Our Lady’s was approached to be a local centre of learning for the K’NEX range of physical computing equipment and software.

Recently Data Harvest visited the school to provide training to staff. This session was also attended by some children who were more than happy to help. The staff and children were given the opportunity to see the equipment and learn about the educational benefits it offers by broadening the school’s resources to help all students achieve.

Exciting times ahead!
