LO: know that the Church celebrates the presence of the Risen Christ at the Eucharist

In the stories of Emmaus and the breakfast on the shore, the disciples shared food with Jesus and once again began to share in his life. During Holy Communion, Catholic Christians believe that they are sharing in the risen life of Jesus in a very special way. Every Sunday God’s family gathers together to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and welcome his presence in Holy Communion.
