Encourage children at prayer times to use their own words for prayer in thanks, to ask for help for those who are ill, etc. Include favourite hymns learned during the year in song. 

 

After having created their own prayer last week verbally,this week we are going to be writing our prayers so that they can be put up in the house, learnt and repeated when needed. Help your child to write down thier prayer encouraging as much independence as possible. Decorate the prayer page so that it can be hung up for eveyrone to see in the house.
