ARRANGEMENTS FOR HOLY WEEK 2021

28^TH MARCH  PALM SUNDAY : 9.30AM

1^ST APRIL    MAUNDY THURSDAY : 7PM

2^ND APRIL    GOOD FRIDAY  : 3PM

3^RD APRIL    EASTER VIGIL : 6PM

4^TH APRIL   EASTER SUNDAY : 9.30AM

WE WILL BE HAVING MASS SERVICES DURING HOLY WEEK, HOWEVER BECAUSE OF THE CURRENT SITUATION THERE WILL BE NO VENERATION OF THE CROSS, NO WASHING OF THE FEET, AND NO INDIVIDUAL CANDLES AT THE VIGIL MASS.

THERE WILL BE NO NEED TO BOOK A SEAT, HOWEVER WE ARE LIMITED TO A CAPACITY OF 70 IN CHURCH FOR EACH SERVICE, YOU MUST MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING AND REMAIN IN HOUSEHOLD BUBBLES ONLY.

WHEN YOU COME TO CHURCH PLEASE WEAR A MASK, SANITISE YOUR HANDS AND LEAVE DETAILS FOR TRACK AND TRACE PURPOSES. IF YOU HAVE THE NHS APP THEN YOU CAN SCAN THE QR CODE AT THE DOOR.

WE HAVE AN ACTIVE FACEBOOK PAGE UNDER OUR LADY HELP OF CHRISTIANS, THAT THE SCHOOL SET UP FOR US SO MASS TIMES AND CHANGES WILL BE UPDATED ON THERE.

 

 

Dear Parishioners,

 

Our Lady Help of Christians Church has unfortunately had to suspend all masses until Sunday 21st February. From 21st February we will celebrate one Mass each weekend. Mass will be celebrated on Sundays at 9:30am. 

 

Please follow the Covid Safety Guidelines, which were included in the Christmas information.

 

 

Please note, attendance at Christmas Masses must be booked. Details are in the information sheet below.

Our church was built in 1966-1967 and designed by the architect Richard Gilbert Scott. It is a Grade II listed building. Its many features include a curved roof, centralised plan and stained glass by John Chrestien. It is a beautiful place of worship. Fr. Anthony Pham Tri-Van, our Parish Priest, welcomes you all to join us for the celebration of Mass.

• School Masses - Friday 9.00am (in the school hall)
• Sunday Masses - 9.30am and 5.00pm
• Holy Day Masses - 9.00am and 6.30pm
• Confession - Saturday 11.00am to 12.00 noon
• Benediction - Thursday 6.30 to 7.30pm
