We take part in a Living Streets initiative called Walk On Wednesdays. This involves children and their families meeting at a local supermarket (where they park their cars) and walking to school together.

Each month our school buys badges from Living Streets and the WOW children are given one.

Living Streets have recently held a competition for next year;s badges entitled ‘A journey through time’. Each WOW child had the opportunity to design a badge. Our school winners were:

• 1st Place – Shannon (Y5)
• Joint 2nd Place – Aishwarya (Y1) and Davie (Y4)

All entries have now been sent to the Living Streets offices in London to see if we have a national winner.
