Year 6's Day at Oscott College
24 June 2015
Year 6 enjoyed a wonderful day at Oscott college on 24th June. The children participated in several workshops including prayer, the mass, exploring the college museum and chapel and question and answer sessions. The day concluded with the celebration of mass.
During the prayer workshop the children learnt how God and people once stood sin by side but sin has driven them apart but through Jesus and his sacrifice on the cross we can be reunited with God.
They spent the day with the seminarians and got to ask them questions about their lives and faith.
One of the highlights of the day was getting to sit on the chair that Pope Benedict sat in during latest visit to Birmingham.
