Reading

Using your reading book or another book you have at home, complete two activities in the booklet. 

RE

LO Retell the events surrounding the Resurrection of Jesus given in the Gospel accounts of Luke and John.

Write the word resurrection in the middle of a piece of paper and record anything you know about the resurrection of Jesus. 

Next, read the two Gospel accounts of the resurrection - Luke 24: 1-12 and John 20: 1-18.   As reading, record the new information heard and/or read that you find out about the events of the resurrection and add to the mind map.

Review added information, then role play the Resurrection.

Topic

Use the video and PowerPoint to find out about castles. Look at pictures of castles from different periods, from the earliest Saxon ditch and rampart castles to later motte and bailey and stone castles. Using the sorting cards, order the castles from oldest to newest and explain their sequence. Peg images on a washing line, sequence on a timeline.
