Pentecost Continued...

 

Ask children to retell you the story of Pentecost from last week.

Discuss with the children the change that the Holy Spirit made in the lives of the disciples. Think about the strength and courage they received and how this changed the way they felt. 

How do you think the Holy Spirit can help us today?

Create with the children some simple prayers addressing God as the Holy Spirit.  See the example prayer for ideas.

Holy Spirit,

Guide me wise teacher, 

live in me, bring hope,

peace and love to my heart.
