Attendance from 2nd June
Thank you for all the support you have been providing to your children and to our staff during this challenging time. We understand children will be missing their friends and some will find the change of routine difficult too. However, we hope all of them are enjoying the opportunity to spend time with you and be involved in creative and fun activities at home!
Following recent government announcements we are beginning to prepare for the possible reopening of school to EYFS, Y1 and Y6 pupils from 2nd June should the government deem it safe to do so. In order to ensure we can plan as effectively as possible we need to know how many of you would like your child/ren in EYFS, Y1 and Y6 ONLY to take up their place. Returning to school at this time will be very different to the usual arrangements, classes and routines as we are taking account of the changes required to increase safety. While we will not be able to remove all risks associated with re-opening, we will be following government guidelines for education establishments to improve safety for the whole school community. More information about this will follow as further guidelines are provided.
Please note there will be NO penalty imposed on any family if a child/children do not attend this academic year and support will continue to be provided for all children.

Home Learning Questionnaire
Here at Our Lady's, we are conscious to provide our children the best possible resources whilst learning from home. To do this, we are surveying all parents to find out what devices children have access to on a regular basis. This information will be used to help determine how we progress with home learning.

Fr. Tim is leading a child friendly mass from St Chad's Cathedral every Thursday morning at 9.30am. The mass will be streamed from the St. Chad's Cathedral website link, https://www.stchadscathedral.org.uk/.
Having spoken to you all over the past few weeks it is apparent that one of the things the children miss most about school is being able to see and talk to their friends. In response to this we have set up our very own 'reception' page on teams for myself and the children to communicate with each other. If they would like to say hi to each other and communicate, or you would like to upload your child's work for me and the class to see, then please visit microsoft teams. You can do this through BGFL 365 or download the app separately.
If you do not know your BGFL 365 log in details, please email me and I will send them to you.
If you are struggling to connect to Teams, please check out the Video Resource Centre on this website for a short guide.
