Daily Sound Practise

Read and say the 'Set 1' sounds every day. Progress to 'Set 2' sounds when all of 'Set 1' are known.

Daily Ditties

For each ditty, practise saying the sounds at the top of the page and blend sounds to read the green words.  For red words, children must learn to recognise them as they cannot be blended using sounds. Ask your child to read the ditty and answer the question.  Then write the suggested sentence independently.
