On behalf of the staff, governors and children of Our Lady's Catholic Primary School, I welcome you to our school website!

I am very proud to be able to share with you the wonderful opportunities and developments at Our Lady's Catholic Primary School where the school family endeavour to 'Follow your dreams using the guiding light of Jesus.'

Our Lady's Catholic Primary School is a vibrant, flourishing, nurturing community where children are enthusiastic and motivated to achieve endless possibilities. With Christ at the centre, children are at the heart of every decision we make to ensure that they are happy, independent and confident and that the opportunities that are provided for them are relevant to their needs both now and for the future.

We are proud to be members of the Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company where we grow strong in faith together with 11 additional primary schools and one secondary school. You can find more information about OLAAS here.

Through our broad and engaging curriculum, we ensure that children can foster a passion for learning and curiosity of the world around them, which will develop high aspirations and a lifetime of memories. We believe in ensuring that all children receive a well-rounded curriculum, where individual talents can be spotted and nurtured to ensure that all children experience success and reach their full potential.

Our school has a talented and dedicated team that works hard to reach high standards in everything we do and this is further embedded through our successful relationships with our families, our Parish and the local community. We firmly believe that education is a partnership between home, school and parish and regard you as an active partner in your child's education and value your interest and support.

I am delighted to be leading the school with my Deputy Mrs Copland. We look forward to travelling with you on our exciting journey towards an outstanding future.

Our Lady's Catholic School is a family at the heart of our community, it is a place where the guiding light of Jesus is present helping us to fulfil our unique call as children of God. It is a school family where all children are welcomed and each one nurtured within the community of home, school and parish so they may follow their dreams of becoming truly exceptional.

We celebrate the uniqueness of each child created in the image and likeness of God. We believe each individual is equipped with a vast array of unique gifts to be used in fulfilling their spiritual destiny.

In our school we aim:

• To provide children with the ability to grow in understanding and in the gaining of skills, attitudes and Christ centred values.
• To provide a caring, secure, happy community where pupils show mutual understanding and respect for one another so that all are enabled to their full potential.
• To engender the spiritual, academic, physical and social development of each child in a place where children, staff, parents and others can come together to learn, to share, to grow and to make friends in the spirit of Christian charity.
• To provide a well-rounded education which inspires and develops the children's understanding of their abilities and worth enabling them to live their lives to the full and have a positive impact on the lives of others.
