First Holy Communion

Twenty children from Year 3 took part in the Sacrament of the Eucharist on Sunday 8th June at Our Lady Help of Christians Church.
Their parents and their teacher, Mrs Henry, helped them to prepare for this important day when they received the body of Jesus for the first time.
On Friday 13th June these children celebrated Mass in school with the rest of our school community and afterwards they shared a meal together. This meal also included the rest of their class who did not make their First Holy Communion. They all had a great time.
The children would like to thank our PFA who organised the party, some of the members can be seen in the photographs.
