We love reading at Our Lady's and we missed the oppourtunity to celebrate World Book day together this year during the national lockdown. Therefore we decided to hold a very special reading and writing focus day. We were very fortunate to have the support of author Luke Temple with this. As Luke was unable to visit in person he supported us by providing KS1 and KS2 masterclasses to encourage the children with their reading and writing skills. Luke gave us tips and advice about how to structure and improve our writing. Following this we also had the oppourtunity to ask Luke questions and he has sent us his answers (please see video below). 

We really enjoyed reading selections from his books and we certainly hope that we will get the oppourtunity to meet him on one of our future focus days.
