Read and listen to the poem Who Has Seen the Wind? by Christina Rossetti
Talk about the poem describing the pictures you can see in your head as you listen to or read it.
Practise reading the poem, keeping up with the rhythm and pace.
Can spot the rhyming words?
Think of ways to complete the sentence: ‘I have seen the wind…’
Describe in a sentence what the wind does, think about what you have seen to help such as;
‘I have seen the wind, blowing leaves on trees’,
‘I have seen the wind, drying washing on the line’.
Write your own line for a poem starting with;
I have seen the wind…
