At the end of each topic, the children are asked to complete a set of challenges to summarise their learning. During this half term's topic, we have been learning about special people and about people that help us including families, friends and the wider community.

For our Literacy task this week we will be making a thank you card for someone special. This could be for a member of the family, a friend or a person in the wider community (shop keeper, milkman, police, nurses etc.)

Task:

Ask children to write independently using the sounds they know. Encourage your child to say the word they want to write out loud and listen for the sounds they hear and then write them (using correct letter formation).
