Local Area

Our local area is important and we should do all we can to look after it and help others to do so too. 

Can you think of any ways we could improve our local area?

How can we remind other people to care for our local area? 

Look at the signs below that people use to care for where they live.

Think about how you could create a sign that could be placed around the local community to help people remember to take care of it.

Examples might include, ‘No ball games’, ‘Keep off the grass’ and ‘Clean up after your dog’.

Draft a design for you sign, then create it using a range of materials, including card and paint or whatever materials you have at home.
