Listen to some simple traditional Christmas carols with your child e.g. Away in a Manger. Reflect with your child on some of the words of these carols. What do they tell us about the birth of the baby Jesus? Create some actions for the different carols to perform at home over Christmas.

Topic

This week the children will be busy in school making Christmas cards and calendars for their families.  Have a go at making home-made cards and decorations as illustrated below.
