Reception Place September 2025
If you have a child due to start school in a Reception class in September 2025, please apply online at www.birmingham.gov.uk and also complete the Supplementary Information Form, which is available from the School office. Please return this form as soon as possible.
The closing date for a Reception place is 15th January 2025.

The admissions process is part of the Birmingham Local Authority Co-ordinated Scheme.
The ethos of the school is Catholic. Priority is given to:
- Baptised Catholic children (see Note 2 below) who are in the care of a local authority (children in care) or provided with accommodation by them (eg children with foster parents) (Section 22 of the Children Act 1989).
- Baptised Catholic children living within the Parish of Our Lady Help of Christians who have a brother or sister (see Note 3 below) in the school at the time of admission.
- Baptised Catholic children living within the Parish of Our Lady Help of Christians.
- Other Baptised Catholic children who have a brother or sister in the school at the time of admission.
- Other Baptised Catholic children.
- Non-Catholic children who are in the care of a local authority (children in care) or provided with accommodation by them (e.g. children with foster parents) (Section 22 of the Children Act 1989).
- Non-Catholic children who have a brother or sister in the school at the time of admission.
- Non-Catholic children.

Admission Applications
Year 6 parents need to submit an application to School Admissions for your child’s Secondary School on the website below by midnight on 31 October 2024 in order for them to receive their school offer on 1 March 2025. Applications received after 31 October will be considered as late:
If your child is due to start school in September 2025, parent/carers can apply online for a school place from 1 October 2024 until 15 January 2025 in order for them to receive their offer on 19 April 2025.
