Good morning Year 3!

 

Today we will have Live Lessons at the following times.

 

10.15am - Maths

12.15pm- Literacy

2.30pm - Science

 

Each of these live lessons will be around 20-30mins and I will then be available on Teams for a following 30-40 minutes after the lesson to answer any questions on the work. The lessons will be recorded and available to watch again on Teams.

Maths

We are going to start looking at multiplying two-digit numbers by one-digit numbers. In order to be able to do this successfully we need to practice partitioning our numbers. See my example below and practice some before our lesson at 10.15am!

Literacy

Today we are going to learn all about scientific language and how this can help us when designing our own healthy snack. 

Science

We are going to start looking at the human body, what it is made up of and how to keep it healthy!

 

This week we are going to look at nutrition and what the body needs to help it function.
