Self Isolation

Dear Parents and Carers


Self Isolation


You may be concerned over the coronavirus outbreak and how this might impact your child’s learning.  In the event of self-isolation we will provide the following links for work at home.  Should the government make a decision regarding whole school closure or school contingency plans warrant closure, we will provide specific work for pupils and send a letter explaining how to access the work as well as help from teachers.


Each child in self-isolation will have access to the following:

RE and Catholic Life

  1. Prayers to use at home with your child and family at this time
  2. gives weekly gospel with worksheets, activities and reflections
  3. this website gives the Sunday gospel and reflections for children
  4.  online Lent activities
  5. online Easter activities


  1. Daily reading of at least 30 minutes. 
  2. Stories being read for children online
  3. Classroom secrets resources are available on the home school website for all year groups:


  1. Times Tables Rock Stars- Years 1-6 (Pupils have their own passwords)

Wider Curriculum

  1. SCIENCE-  Key Stage 1
  2. SCIENCE-Key Stage 2

PE / Being active

  1. Resources and videos for active learning
  2. YouTube-search for: Wake up shake up, just dance for kids fitness and simply copy the videos

Children in Year 6 will also receive additional work from their SATs revision books.


Children may be feeling anxious about this developing situation and it is difficult to know where to start with approaching this with children.  Tips for parents to begin talking to children about Coronavirus can be found by following this link:


School will strive to keep you up to date via letter, the school website, school app and our text message service of any developments.  Please make sure if you have had a new phone number recently, you have updated this with the school office.
